We like to post a lot of of older stuff here because understanding the history of the dance is so important and it seems like folks haven't heard or seen a lot of the great stuff out there. But we also want to share awesome things going on right now and this one is a treat.
Most times the people who get write-ups in the paper are the folks it’s easiest to find out about, the people who can create a good story about themselves, not necessarily the people who are the best at what they do. But once in a while someone who has an undeniably compelling story is ALSO as good as advertised. LaTasha Barnes IS the amazing connector and link between past & present and between disciplines that this article makes her out to be. So proud to call her a Lindy Hopper and a friend.
